Roldan Olives are a Spanish favorite, especially the Aloreña variety shown above, which is considered to be the "Pata Negra" (the best of the best) of olives because of the taste and nutritional benefits. We are very excited to be the first and only suppliers of the Aloreña olive with the denomination of origin of Malaga to Canada. This 100% natural olive is considered the best of the olives in Spain. It’s the only olive with D.O.P. from more than 260 different varieties to choose from in Spain. Its size, thick texture and ease of shedding the olive pit, allows the seasoning to penetrate, making it a unique olive that is highly appreciated by professional tasting palettes. To help offset their bitter taste, these olives are brine-cured by natural methods. The traditional and natural seasoning is composed of garlic and thyme. Free of cholesterol and trans fats. An amazing delight!!
We are also supplying another olive called Gordal shown above, which is one of the largest varieties from Spain and this is a great and fancy way to eat them, with a little pickle stuffed inside. The contrast of flavours is what makes this olive interesting. These olives are brine-cured and don’t have any extra seasoning. They’re free of cholesterol. Great for any occasion!!
